In Hall 5, we will be focussing on furnace construction, metalworking and processing, automation techniques and joining technologies. The Media & Education Lounge is also located here – a place for retreat and further education, accompanied by media and industry partners. The lounge invites visitors to browse through the magazines in a cosy atmosphere, take a break or discuss the trade fair topics in more depth in personal conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. Additional insights can be provided in the education area, where the shortage of skilled labour, training and further education will also be discussed.

This year, there are also plans for a start-up area in Hall 5, which will offer young companies the space they need. ALUMINIUM has once again been included as a leading international trade fair in the "Young Innovators" funding programme of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection – a programme that supports young German technology companies to push forward the promotion of innovative products and solutions.
